Department of Biotechnology
As the Department name indicates, the Department of Biotechnology is engaged in education, science, and consultancy activities in biotechnologies from the chemical, technical, and engineering points of view.
Our instrumentation and equipment
The successful scientific and education activities of the Department can be implemented due to quality backup of laboratories with modern instrumentation and equipment.
Our experimental brewery
Technology Facility Brewery Lachout comprises micromalt-house, classical four-tanks copper brewing kit complemented by primary fermentation in open fermentation vessels and consecutive fermentation in lager cellar and modern fully automated two-tanks stainless steel brewing kit complemented by fermentation in the CCT.
