Doctoral thesis: Study of compounds interfering with regulatory mechanisms for biofilm formation of unicellular eukaryotes

Teaching Activity

Teaching in the laboratories of DB, consultation activities for students attending their bachelor/master studies.

Current Research Topics

  • Formation, characterization and pathogenic effects of fungal biofilms, especially of the genus Candida.
  • The possibilities of suppressing the formation of fungal biofilm by the application of various natural substances and nanoparticles.
